These SAE Lights have Optics that are oriented for TOP SIDE or BOTTOM SIDE Mounting.
If you are mounting them ON TOP of a surface, such as the top of a bumper. A-Pillars, On a cross mount, etc, where the light sits ON TOP of the bracket. You want the STANDARD models.
If you are mounting them from the HANGING position. Under a bracket. Such as a Fog pocket where the mount is on the top and the light hangs UNDER IT. You want the UPSIDE DOWN models for Light Kits.
