- FULL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
I consider myself a novice at such an installation as I have had no experience with such. But the supplied cable harnesses with the detailed instructions provided (and YouTube videos) all the guess work was removed and led to a successful installation.
I especially appreciated the personal call from John Teshler (whom later I saw was the President of SPV) who walked me through and corrected a bracket purchase for the rear lights that I did not need, and suggested a coupler to connect the backup lights of the front to the backup lights of the rear. He also explained the connection process and answered all my questions so it intuitively made sense to me.
I would suggest providing a little more detail (maybe a YouTube video) on the specific locations of the hot switch wires VS. the extra set of dead wires Ford included on the 2017 Raptor. Yes, I grabbed the wrong ones and put connectors on them. In my defense, the hot wires were taped to a harness and initially looked like they were part of that harness. When the switches didn’t work, I figured out my mistake.
Also, a little more detail on the best routing path of the harness from the back lights to the front and also the harness for the front. I realize this could be a personal preference thing, but a suggested path with visuals would be nice.
All in all, great purchase, great customer service, great instructions, and great experience! Thanks SPV.
