Very functional lights that help when backing up, hooking for tow or loading, and looks great with connection to the rear lights.
Just purchased the front Rigid Radiance can’t wait to receive them.
Hardware and wiring harness were top quality and very easy to install!!
I wanted some more lights to aid in locking up ranch gates when alone. The full length harness kit to the up fitter switches did the trick. Easy install was able to fish the pre made harness in the truck frame the entire length of the vehicle.
These lights were exactly what I was looking for. The red perimeter light matches the color from the led blades in the rear fender flares perfectly. The lights are tucked up and out of the way. It looks factory. The extra light provided from these lights when backing up is excellent. The wiring harnesses, instructions, and on-line videos made installation easy. I routed my aux switch wires through the frame which was not hard. I will definitely buy products from SPV again. The only advice I have is that if you are unfamiliar with weather pack connectors buy a few extra pieces ahead of time if you happen to make a mistake and need to redo a connection.
I really like the ease of installation, except that I needed to attach the connectors and there was no mention that a special tool was needed to complete the process. The directions were not clear concerning how these connections were to be completed. It was very difficult and only the exact number of connector leads were provided. After several failed attempts to use current tools I was forced to order the correct tool and then track down additional connectors. After a two week pause in the installation process I was able to complete the installation. If the lights were shipped with the connectors already attached them it would be a true plug and play system.
Thanks! We do wish the lights came with connectors. However, since some don't we wanted to go the extra step and provide them so you can have a plug in weatherproof connector instead of permanently crimping wires like everyone else.
We do have some install videos that show you how to crimp the pins and what $15 tool to get (from Amazon). This video shows every scenario for every harness and light with all our harnesses. We have several install videos at youtube.com/jtrischler so be sure to check them out.
Here is the video-
Also, where most people are comfortable putting the pins on and understand how once they watch those videos or look at the instructions. Some still aren't comfortable. So we created a pig tail kit with a pin already on a wire with a heat shrink butt connector on it. Putting the pin on direct is always cleanest. However, we understand that isnt for everyone. So you can select these pig tail kits instead if you prefer.
As alway great stuff from spv parts
