Description
Relay and Fuse Add on Adaptor (To Universal Harness System)
MAIN APPLICATION/DESCRIPTION-
Works with ALL of our Universal Harness System Harnesses. If you need to add a fuse and relay to an application because you either don't have built in relays/fuses in a factory switch panel like the Raptor for example... OR you need to draw more power than the factory switches will allow. These adapters plugs right in to any of our universal harnesses.
Now you can pick between our new MINI Relay adapter or the traditional Standard Size Relay adapter.
Mini Relay Description- (90% of applications under 25 amps)
The new Mini Relay Adapter has a very small foot print and you will find that it will fit for about 90% of the builds you will need a relay adapter for. It uses a 30amp max mini relay, with a 25amp built in mini fuse. The Mini Relay adapter has 12 Gauge Wire and is easily suitable for 25 amps. To slim the components down even more, we insulate each wire with a high temp silicon fiberglass sleeve. This material is even more heat resist and has a much smaller diameter. Compared to the traditional Relay unit, the Mini Relay is about 1/4 the size. As far as the cabling itself. The entire unit is approx 1/3 the bulk of the standard relay adapter (or any relay built in to any aftermarket harness for that matter.
Standard Relay Description- (10% of applications over 25 amps)
The standard Relay adapter will plug into any of our harnesses the same way the Mini Relay adapter does. The Standard Relay unit is rated up to 60 amps, though restricted to 30 amps from the built in 30 amp standard blade fuse. The standard relay uses 10 gauge wire which is good to carry current a little over 30-35 amps. However, the restrictions come in the amp rating of the connectors and pins to connect it to any harness. Weather Pack Pins are one of the highest rated at 20 amps pass through. You can get by with a tick over that in most applications on shorter intervals but that is the limits they are rated at. Therefore, to maximize the capacity of the standard relay adapter. You would in a high output scenario, remove the connectors and crimp/fuse the adapter direct to your main harness. That is only needed for those larger capacities. Such as running the full 30 amps or adding a 35 to 40 amp fuse for a bit more. (Not more than 40 though with 10 gauge wire and that requires going direct, no connectors!)

Harness System Description-
This harness is part of our UNIVERSAL harness system. Each harness can be used for virtually ANY vehicle and ANY lighting application with the use of our many adapters and modules. Each adapter or module will simply plug into the harness to fit virtually ANY light.
For example, if you have any light such as Rigid Radiance, Scene, 360, or any other make and model WITHOUT connectors on the bare wires with the lights. You will simply add on the included matching connectors in the included kit.
If you have lights WITH connectors on them, you just add the correct connector adaptor type. Some examples of connector adapters are- Rigid Pro Series lights or Single stage lights use DT connectors. Baja Designs (For the most part) use WP Connectors. If you have a 3 wire light (With the Amber/Multicolor background) you can use the included plug pack to either add to your lights 90% of the time, or your light will most likely already have the 3 way WP connectors on them, which will match to these harnesses.
